I read that 70% of divorces are initiated by women. I don't know if that stat holds for the JW world, but with more JW women working, they don't have to rely on their JW hubbies for support, and can dump him when he carries the headship thing too far. I've also heard of a lot more 'sisters' having affairs than brothers. Maybe it's just cuz the sisters get df'd, and the gossip gets around the cong.

I thought that was because opportunity affords itself more to young women whereas a man has to go looking for it. And being brainwashed that everyone in the world has sex with whoever all the time, they start thinking that is normal behaviour. We see this too when some people leave the organisation.

Women are just as equally responsible for what happens in marriages, yet the WTBS devotes 3/4 of an article on what husbands should be doing and 1/4 on wives, and thats only to be submissive and be respectful, how sad!

You really have no clue what it's like for a woman with a half-decent functioning brainstem to be expected to be Submissive™ and Respectful™ of neanderthal jackass husbands who have unrealistic, unreasonable and ridiculous demands placed on their respective wives.

Like an earlier post said, how many times has a JW chick been told that if she is a better more capable wife, her husband would not treat her the way he does. Sorry, but that is language of abuse. You were asking to be hit, you brought it on yourself. If only you were better, blah, blah, blah.

Just because someone has an extra appendage does not make them smarter then me. And if the JW guys are too insecure to handle a smart women, they they should stay single or alternatively make it a male only membership.
