PO's wife argued with the cable company about the porn movie on her bill, saying there was NO WAY it was correct. Yeah uh huh... you have what, THREE chances to click out of one of those on PPV, right? (I wouldn't know. ) The PO is a creep -- got some issues with sex, that is obvious from his goofy comments from the speaker stand ("Esther was probably a good-lookin woman" re: swimwear- "leave nothing to the imagination" and a plethora of other squicky, inappropriate comments in his talks)

Siblings in the KH -- one DA'd a few years ago. Decided to come back (stupid girl) and sat with her parents as she was returning. Her brother was DF a couple years after. He was NOT allowed to sit with his parents as it would "stumble" some. Whatever.

How bout all those dubs who won't see their families for Thanksgiving but get together amongst themselves and have a big turkey dinner "just because turkeys are on sale and we all have the time off work"? Or my brother in law who doesn't celebrate Christmas but goes to his inlaws every year for Christmas dinner and even accepts gifts. He and his wife are just visiting her family who she never sees but they're not celebrating Christmas. Jackass.

The PO who gave a talk about the evils of patriotism, warning against having anything to do with the St Georges cross (England Flag) because the soccer World Cup was fast approaching. Then his wife bought an England shirt (Flag Emblazoned on front) with his full knowledge.

My son was removed from microphone priveleges for kissing a girl.....no really JUST KISSING! Whilst another elders son, also a Reg Pioneer carried on doing the job even though he'd been ratted on for buying cigarettes and alcohol for minors. Loads more.

How about an MS I knew who said how could he be upset at his wife for cheating on him because "it's not like I haven't cheated on her recently".

Now technically this guy wasn't being a hypocite if he allowed his wife the same short falling as he had. He is just an ass for cheating on her in the first place.

I reported it to the elders and I was hauled into the room and reamed out because I didn't follow proper scriptural procedure and went to the brother first to ask him to confess to the elders!

Argued with an elderette once about how come gambling is wrong...but playing the stock market isn't. What a crock. Then found out here on JWD that the only reason the society allows it is cuz stocks can be willed to the society...how convenient!

I regular pioneered for 5 years and served where the great are needed for 12 and not ONE elder or servant from my "home" congo ever left the nest... but talked dummies like me into doing their dirty work...I was such a "tool".

Two JW brothers, in there late 20's, who where pioneers.

But turned out they had been gay lovers since they were 16/17.

They blamed it on that their JW parents who would never allow them to be with girls in case they got up to something.

But encouraged them to be with each other in "Jehovahs service" instead.
