I urge you to disregard any personal opinions voiced by anyone, including myself regarding Watchtower Society publications.
But I would like to ask you to meditate on why God is so puny and ineffective.
He must be the epitome of helplessness.
It took almost 2,000 years before an accurate translation of the Bible could be compiled. For over 1,800 years God was so
paralyzed by Satan that He couldn't get an accurate translation out until the middle 1900's. It was only through His one and
only channel of communication that this could be achieved.
I have a blue (1985 edition) of "The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures". This wonderful tool published by the WTBTS is worth its weight in gold.
Do you have one, too?
I also have a Green New World Translation (1961 edition) that is worth its weight in gold.
Do you have one?
When I examine Hebrews 1:1-8 in the green bible and compare it with the Kingdom Interlinear Translation and with the inaccurate bibles of Christendom that have been around for hundreds of years longer I realise how grateful everyone should be that God finally had the courage to stand up to Satan and have an accurate bible published.
I sometimes wonder why the Watchtower wasn't published sooner, too. After all, the Romans had an intricate network of paved roads and bridges that stretched almost all the way from Turkey to Ireland. It would have been a simple matter for articles to be handwritten and distributed from congregation to congregation.
I am so glad that God finally got off his duff and started the ball rolling even if it meant no telling how many millions of people never had the oportunity to live in such a spiritual paradise as the Jehovah's Witnesses are able to today.
I also wonder why Jesus would be a bit evasive about the time period this would take place when He said the following in John
Chapter 10 because so many honest-hearted people must have lived throughout the ages:
They will never follow a stranger; instead they will run away from him, because they don’t recognize the voice of strangers.” John 10:5
Why did it take so long for Jesus to come through on His promise of a spiritual paradise?
He did promise something like a spiritual paradise to all who would exercise faith in Him, didn't he?
I have come that they may have life and have it in abundance. John 10:10
Don't let anyone discourage you from making sure of all things because after all it took God almost 2,000 years to be able to
provide such an abundance of spiritual meat in due season.
