It's funny that when a weak witness is in financial trouble, discouraged, without work, or with a personal problem, they don't think of how they can help that person.
That's not only a possible scenario, it's happening all the time.

What the brothers will do in this case is tell you to go to a family memeber, even if the person is DFD or not in the truth -- so when having money problems it always come down to asking those relatives who are in the truth first -- then those who are DFD and not associated -- could you image some one going to some one they have not spoken to for years because this person is DFD and then asking for monetary help

I can hear the counsel now....

This preoccupation was at the root of my mental problems as a witness. I was MORE CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT OTHERS THOUGHT THAN WHAT I THOUGHT! How strange! I went to a therapist who identified this real problem in my thinking and the cause behind much of my anger and depression and repression.

Wow. I think THAT NONSENSE THINKING when gone was the biggest sigh of relief for this poor soul's brain and heart. I didnt need drugs! I needed to get in touch with what I believed and held dear and concern myself with my happiness not everybody else's.

Thankyou for reminding me how dangerous it would be for me to ever go back to that mind control.

Happened to my friend recently. Now he has a good job working w/WORLDLY PEOPLE - oh my god!!

They are so hypocritical. You're supposed to do exactly what they say and give up all worldly acquaintances. But are they there for you when YOU need special help?? NOT IN OUR EXPERIENCE

And their dictating your every move.....................don't get me started.

I got a problem. "Well, you better go talk to an elder, right away".......Should I continue schooling or pioneer? "You better talk to the elders about that, especially anyone on the Service Committee"........My mom doesn't want to me to go on the internet at all......."You need to talk to the Presiding Overseer". I think my daughter is hanging around with worldly kids at school. "You better talk to the Circuit Overseer when he visits this month". EVERYTHING has to be dissected, discussed and digested before you can use your own God given freedoms of choice and discernment.
