These Geico automobile insurance addys are televisions most viewed/proflic in my neck of the woods Bangor Maine usa.
Interested in multi media outreaching i have observed how some of these spots are effective and some bomb.
I have enjoyed these commercials. They are a very funny commentary on today's political correctness.

I keep an eye on advertising complaints in England. I find it an fascinating subject. Most adverts portraying people as stupid now use men as they are less likely to take offense. Most films portraying bad guys now use English men as they are least likely to take offense. In one advert the guy gets slapped around the head with a fryingpan. No doubt if this was a woman there would be upset.
That's one of the few commercials I'll take my finger off the remote to watch.
That is, by far, my favorite Geico commercial. I knew exactly what you meant by the thread title.
The little Geico lizard (Gecko) popped up on my ISP screen, so I decided to check their insurance rates. My current commercial policy is $450 every 6-months. Geico quoted me at $379. This is $81 less. they are the first company to save me over my current carrier. So, I might switch when my policy expires in July.

PS: The Geico screen asked for your home phone number and Social Security number, but you don't have to give it. The quote sequence works find without them.
It was funny the first million times they showed it on TV. Some things should not be overplayed; just like your favorite song on the radio that you then hate three months later cause you're so sick of it.
BTW, you can download almost any commercial from the past 20 years from http://www.ad-rag.com for a little as a dollar a month. Great archive. I see that these YouTube vids originated from ad-rag, and I would bet they would be removed once ad-rag learns they have been appropriated.
