D2D is a huge waste of time. Nobody is home during the day and busy with family stuff on weekends. If you go in the evenings you are interupting supper and what not. Working D2D is not preaching. It is talking to doors & writing down not at homes. For a long time the WTS has been saying now "Go where the ppl are" But D2D is so much a part of JW persona that they can hardly talk to someone unless its at that persons door.
Could the JW's be in "survival mode"?

the jws are definetely in survival mode. others and myself are getting away with stuff we would have never gotten away with.
in the late 70's I was denied baptism because i missed on occasion the bookstudy. nowadays its the norm
