I remember that assembly also. My kids didn't want to go down and I certainly wasn't going to force them.

    More control...........

Sounds like there were two assemblies (since 1941) where the kids were asked to move to a special section--1976 and 1989 with the release of the "Youth Getting the Best Our of Life" and "Questions Young People Ask."

"This is the very definition of High-Control Cult Behavior. Seriously, how many children, or even adults, would have the self confidence and will power to remain seated in such a high-pressure situation?"

Strange, children and adults affiliated with the Jehovah's Witnesses are expected to stay seated during National Displays, and do so.

I remember sitting down front for the new book for kids... Can't remember what it was called... It was just a chance to screw around and hit on the hotties with no parents around!
