Well, this takes the cake....I just heard an interview during the Kentucky Derby preshow, Serina Williams was being interviewed and was asked if she was going to bet, she said," I don't know anything about it so I' asked the man behind me to tell me which horses and I'll just pay the money."
Now you can bet and be in good standing.
I knew a gal who used to be in the same KH as the two williams sisters. She said they were treated as royalty! (hello, anyone here of creature worship?) I doubt any of the elders would reprove them as they seem to be the token cool witnesses and the society can point to them and say "see, we let kids do sports and such", what a load of baloney.
I wonder if anyone said anything to the williams sister who ran with the american flag drapped over her?
What horse is she betting on - the apocalyptic horse with rider having scales in his hand, or the horse bringing death? Good for her, I hope she wins and donates not a cent to the world wide sharing of misery.
That's right Lawrence. The bottom line is MONEY. These high profile people have the moola to turn heads the other way.

I have a hard time believing that those two are witnesses in good standing...
Maybe in the past but not now. Sorry I don't buy that!
I researched their standing some time ago.........they are not baptized.........only the mother, Oracene, is. At most, they were once unbaptized publishers attending a West Palm Beach congregation.
Are they now..........hard to say unless someone goes to that congregation and knows.
We know that celebrity JWs are allowed a lot of leeway in their dress and activities. For example, Michael Jackson before 1984's Thriller fiasco. Or Prince's performances and dress at certain award ceremonies.
