JW:
Where does it say Jesus????
Get the f...out of here! Are you seriously saying that "the Word" (logos) in John 1.1 is not referring to Jesus Christ? If so, then you are not in agreement with neither your beloved Watchtower Society (even they admit that the Logos refers to Jesus), nor the rest of christianity. Also, by denying this, you are ignoring so many passages in the NT that I don`t even know where to start:
Colossianss 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation,
1:16 for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through him and for him.
1:17 He himself is before all things and all things are held together in him.
Revelation 19:13 He is dressed in clothing dipped in blood, and he is called the Word of God.
The trinity-doctrine arose because of the (seeming) contradictions between passages like the one you quoted, and passages like Isaiah 40:28, and all the passages from the New Testament, in which the creating is attributed to Jesus Christ aka the Word.
Have you even read the Bible?
