KW and EVEN Jekyl made some good points. She's your mom. A mother would have to do something so horrible that it would be unspeakable, for her son of daughter to say: " I'm not gonna call that b*tch on my birthday!" Sometimes it's easiest to just not say much about what you are doing. Are you tring to "win a convert", or just educate yourself? My mom believes she is a JW and says some pretty F'ed up things to me and my siblings, but we just let it ride and when my parents come to visit, we roll out the red carpet for them. Nothing but the best! Do that in youe own way and strive to maintain a good friendship with your mom. Blood will ALWAYS be thicker than water!

Your post was rather interesting and certainly not boring, I can see how the JWs are not tolerent of Christian books and how they think that they are the one and only true religion and everyone else is satanic.
That is an isolationist mentality as well as arrogant, in fact they are the ones that can not produce stable dogma and what's the truth to them today tomorrow becomes a lie.
