i know its far from a classic, but the film White Noise was a very cool film that i didn't think sounded that exciting...kept making me jump lol.

My favorite "weird" movie lately has been "The Big Empty", with Jon Favreau, Joey Lauren Adams, Daryl Hannah, Rachel Leigh Cook, Kelsey Grammer, and Sean Bean. Its about a struggling actor who works as a delivery driver. He accepts a job to deliver a locked suitcase to a small town out in the desert, where he misses his delivery appointment, and lots of strange things begin to happen. Many big names playing many memorable characters. Favorite movie I thought I would hate was "Pirates of the Caribbean", which didn't suck nearly as much as I expected : )

Mine without a doubt is "Dark Star" My biggest regret is lending it to my brother and then him losing it. I haven't found a replacement yet.

How about "Bad Boy Bubby"?? It's pretty strange but GREAT in my opinion. Its an Aussie film from 1994 or so, around that time.
