I have high-speed Internet access and it is running at a turtle's pace. Very frustrating. We've had a lot of rain and cool temps - could that be the reason?? Or just unusually busy?

We are on high - speed internet as well, and ours has slowed down just a little, so maybe it is unusually busy. After all, we are in the UK.

It could be just a problem with your internet service provider maybe they had a breakdown or they are upgrading.

I was having some problems last night myself but seems to be running normal today . I did some serious maintenance tho that may have helped . I recommend doing a pc check up somewhere , I did mine at the venders site . Still can't get my CD ROM working tho . That means no video games

my computer is running fast as usual however the MSN messenger was down for some time during the day

I called our Internet provider and he talked me through some tests and it did show a problem. So someone is coming out to check on it. I ran my Spy program and deleted all of the cookies just to clean house. Strange thing is that now it's working fine.
So frustrating.

Juni, it's because you've invited demonnz into your home via the internet! Haha, truthfully, I've got Adelphia high speed cable internet, and it's sucked today too. Glad yours is better.
