Are you at peace with God?

Why would anyone need to be at peace with a moronic fantasy?
Certainly the true source and sustenance of this infinitely wondrous universe has to be a zillion light-years more substantial than the war god and his boy presented in the Bible. The sooner we let go of and stop fretting over little deities and mental idols, the better.

So, Mr. Intellect. Since you know so much, what are the answers to the great questions of life? Please indulge us imbeciles, those that need a crutch of belief in God to make it through the night (Isn't that what the elitist intellectuals believe?).

Intellectual? I'm the one with a fool as a avatar.
Elementary speaking, It just does not seem wise to attribute an INFINITE universe, to a tiny god-man. It makes sense, does it not dear Rex, that the true God must be endlessly more than the universe, or universes, which flow forth from it?
The difference between us Rex, is you belittle your source to a tiny object, a fragment floating about somewhere within the universe, and I limit it and minimize it not at all. In fact feel that all universes are but a fragment within God.
Perhaps it would be wise Rex, for you to examine yourself to find why you are offended by someone who exalts God to endless and infinite stature. I would give you my avatar, but I like it.

I am at peace with myself.
As for God, I am not sure he exists.

Yes, I feel I am at peace with God.
Surprisingly, It didn't take long after leaving the religion to loose the feeling of "guilt". I think I am closer to him now that I ever was, I think it's because I am worshiping him on my own terms now....

I am at peace with myself and my loved ones. Thats all that matters. Being at peace with a man-made fantasy has no relevance either way.

I now see the true nature of the universe as GOD and what it does is what we are doing and so there is no reason
to judge myself or anyone else by a fantasy ideal and find us lacking.... reality is just what it is...and until you compare it to something it is not, it is perfect.
grasping the perfection of each moment is not always easy as my mind believes that reality should be something it is not, many times.
but it is said, it is always easier to ride the horse when it is going where you want it to (^_^)

I will at peace with god when he acts in a peaceful manner. 'Worship me or i'll kill you' does not smack of peace to me.
