Illegal immigrants is probably where the society hopes to get their next spurt in growth.
That is their primary growth -- in this country, at least.
There are other threads somewhere on here highlighting that that 1/4 of the JWs in the US are in Spanish language congregations, i.e., 250,000 of them. Baptisms at English language circuit assemblies generally number 0 to maybe 5 or so. At Spanish language circuit assemblies in areas where there are thousands of illegal immigrants, the baptisms are in the dozens.
A similar ratio holds for the district conventions -- at an English language convention, there may be 30-50 baptized. In illegal immigrant zones, Spanish conventions have baptism numbers well into the hundreds.
If not for illegal immigrants, there would be 0 or negative growth in the US.
