  Hello All,
  My personal opinion. I think that in about 50 years or less, it really won't matter much what language you speak. I think that there will be some technological advancement made so that it really does not matter. Your native language may be spoken around the home or village so as to protect history and heritage, but when working or schooling, something will be handling translations between you and your audience. I can see it coming full circle to when there was only one language spoken around the world for the most part and the rest will either be relegated to historical archives or spoken of just for fun and bringing back memories.
