While sometimes, it may seem like it is not doing much, whenever they are 'tied up' in litigation, they are having to expend time, energy and monies in court.

why doesnt wts simply add credit card payments on their site and simply pay a little tax, and make everything downloadable? they wpuld save lots on housing all those printing presses, and staff. the assemblies could be cancelled saving all that money, and they could watch the talks over the internet. assembly halls in all them countries must seem like an unnecessary waste. why have all those kh unused when the ah is filled. seems silly that both are never filled at the same time.
What is the difference between admonishments to contribute and nice plate being passed around? It seems as if they do not like silver or brass plates rather than an objection to crass money. I don't see how not passing a plate makes them so rigteous. Did not some members report that credit card machines are installed for assemblies and conventions to maximize convention euphoria.
