What Things Do You Find Interesting About Jehovah's Witnesses?

There's a lot that I find intriguing about the Witnesses. I'll name a few. I'm amazed that a JW can IGNORE what is obvious regarding their own hypocrisy. They know that only JWs are supposed to make it into the Great Tribulation yet if they are asked, "what about the babies or the billions that never heard the truth?", they answer: "It is up to God in his wisdom and mercy to make such decisions. We just need to continue our preaching work.".....The truth is they bold face lie. Another thing about Witnesses, is that they ignore obvious truths for the lie. They ignore evidence from archaeology, chronology, science and even the Bible itself. They try to silence any that expose the truth about the Witnesses. Don't talk about the UN and JWs in the same sentence unless you're going to say that the JWs would never have anything to do with the "beast". Don't suggest that child abuse goes on in the Organization or else you'll be disfellowshipped yourself! Don't bring up the actual history of the all the past presidents of the Society or you'll be regarded as an "apostate" or "troublemaker".........

Not much anymore really, min. The rest of existence is so much more interesting!

What I find interesting is how come they seem to like having 5 hours of meetings a week plus field service plus many hours to prepare those meeetings which total maybe 20 hours a week in all.

I find it amazing that the JW's I talked to never brought this up. Either they lie to me, or they don't seem to find it exaggerated to have so many hours a week dedicated their religion.

At the special assembly day this past weekend, we were told to TRUST the Org. TRUST!

That means, quit decorating your homes, do NOT go to college......PREACH! Trust us! This is where salvation belongs!

Peg is referring to edict from the org. that we should be donating more to "God's Org." and not spending on our homes with dribble -unnecessary things.

I think it's interesting how many Witnesses I know are deeply stupid. Not all of course, but I think the average intelligence in a Kingdom Hall is lower than almost any other cross section of humanity.

That at a moments notice, (were their Armegeddon to come) that all of earth's inhabitants would know that thier failure in adhering too, or ardently desiring watchtower policy means their doom. "Shit, I shoulda taken the W & A. I didn't so now I'm dead". What simpletons!
