the exact same thing happened after I left. A guy I used to see secretly ended up marrying my best friend, daughter of strict elder. They had a kid, then she found out he was sleeping with the baby's grandmother! Shocking!

A 'fine, upstanding, prominent' elder [cough] in our area, seduced and fornicated with a 18 year old pioneer partner of his daughter.
After the divorce and df'ings, he actually married her. His daughter is so livid at her father to this date [unless things have changed since I left] that she still will not speak with daddy though he is reinstated with new wife.
Of course the daughter is a self righteous bitch - now married to a self righteious bastard elder. I think I liked the fornicators better.

Of course! lol ...and if you phrased your comments just right, with plenty of expressions straight from the mags or quotes of Bible verses, a few tears and a sad face, you could make it seem like you weren't really gossiping at all.
I was a pretty dull dub, though. I didn't know much of anything. Didn't hear about the pretty elder's wife doin' it with her son in law until well after it was all over.
