Does anyone here work from home and make money on the net? I was looking for something like that, but would like some suggestions. I did a few online surveys, we will have to see if they actually pay. So if anyone makes money working from home, fill me in! Doesnt have to be computer work, but i prefer that.

I have worked for a company called Working Solutions for about 5 years now. They are out of Plano Texas. I work when I want and however much I want. They pay pretty well for sitting on my butt in my pj's....

    I also sell on ebay.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Good luck with whatever you doI'd give you just one piece of advice -

Don't sign up with anyone who asks for money up front or a 'registration fee' - or at least be very cautious.

These usually turn out to be scams.

Oh, there you have it - you could set up a fake online homeworking recruitment site lol!

I have tried several kinds of online surveys and have never recieved a red cent. I haved tried only canadain surveys because the american ones don't work, they say I have won this and that and yet when I go to claim the gift it says to me what is your address, USA zip code, etc and I never recieved anything from them.

So unless someone knows a real sure way of earning money on the net aside from ebay I would like to know.

    thanks

I've looked at alot of them myself and think that it's all a bunch make believe . I don't know how they get people to testify that they are making alot of money since it's obvious that there is a catch .

I'm opening an account on e-bay...has anyone had any trouble with phising after opening an account?

Is the secure page really really secure? Bank accounts, and cc #s; I have such a hard time releasing those items.

How often does e-bay tap into your account for payments?, or do you pay them.

    thanks dan

    dan,

I have used ebay a lot. PayPal is owned by ebay & I've never had even one problem with it. For many interactions with sellers/buyers, you are able to hide your info from them. They don't see your bank account # or credit card # if you buy from them either.

Once in a while you hear about ppl getting fake emails from ebay saying they must give new account info....as far as I know, the spammers got a hold of your email addy some other way and are just guessing you have an account with ebay. I have several email addys and most of them are not registered on ebay/PayPal, but I get notices to those addys saying I should update my bank account #. Just guessing, I figure.

rebel, yeah, I got phished about a year ago on ebay (my first day hahah)I was stupid gave them everything and then had to fight with the cc companies about all the crap that was bought on my account.

That was my fault, but I was just wondering about ebay it's self?

    Thanks

I have never sold on ebay as you need a bank account and a credit card and I only have one of those. this is because they take a commission on what you sell through them from yoru account and if there are insufficient funds you must have a credit card for them to deduct from available. I have bought though and had no problems.

As for online surveys - a lot of them are just too tiresome and it takes weeks to make a meagre £2.50, you have to fill out surveys to check you match their criteria for the actual marketing surveys. I do surveys for lightspeed and if you match their criteria then you get a certain number of points - 500 points equals a £5 Amazon voucher. So its not a big money spinner but keeps you amused during lunch breaks etc.
