Being part of the Library of Congress collection makes this book available to anyone through an interlibrary loan! Anyone in any congregation could make a request to borrow this book!

So much for trying to restrict this book for elder's eyes only.

But you do not have to submit an interlibrary loan to see this book!

To get your very own copy, along with "extra" annotations made by an elder, go here:

Perhaps they had to trade one to get the UN library card...

What do you bet it takes no time at all for some elder to request an inter-library loan and then "lose" it?

Deposit at LOC is required to copyright your works. WTS could argue they copyrighted it to protect unauthorized distribution.

How do I get my work into the Library of Congress?Copies of works deposited for copyright registration or in fulfillment of the mandatory deposit requirement are available to the Library of Congress for its collections. The Library reserves the right to select or reject any published work for its permanent collections based on the research needs of Congress, the nation's scholars, and of the nation's libraries. The Watchtower deposited the book with the Library of Congress because they copyrighted it to protect their rights.

I thought it was funny to point out that the book has been available since 1991 at the LoC for public examination.

    ROFL - that's delicious.

I wonder if it's available in the British Museum Library, too? They get a copy of nigh on every book ever printed.
