I would have to say that it took several years listening to elders that we had as friends tell me about the un-brotherly things that were being done in the congregations. We had made some good friends with some good people, and I hope that one day they will make a decision to stand up for that is right and leave the harlot, but for now they stay.
oh i agree with that, but it was the people who weren't ''christian'' that ruined it and added to the problems.

KW13, I also noticed the gross lack in spirituality and that the JWs hadn't really made much progress in transforming their society relative to the worldly one, preaching the JW version of the so called truth and attending meetings doesn't really mean much.
So I saw them as being basically the same as worldly people that made some minor changes. And they weren't worth wasting my time with, given what the org was demanding in return.
