What's really funny about that song is that my youngest came charging into my room one evening, all excited about this new music video by Marilyn Manson. You should have seen the look on her face when I started singing along. LMAO!! That song lost so much "coolness" to her at that very moment.

Ha ha, yes, Marilyn Manson seems to be making a living re-inventing classic 80s tunes (I did however like his "sweet dreams" interpretation). I remember how shocked some of my friends were when I explained that Gwen Stefani did not actually write "Its my life" and played them the original Talk Talk version.....gawd I'm so old!!!! LMAO
I inherited my latest mobile phone from dedpoet when he renewed his contract, and it has "Stairway to Heaven" as a ringtone, which I like. Dedpoet's new phone has "kashmir", another Led Zep song, as a ringtone.

True enough! I just watched the old Soft Cell version of Tainted Love on youtube.com ... omg was it ever lame! LOL but I prefer that version of the song to MM's and I like MM's music video better... he's a little harsh for my taste on that one, but his "Sweet Dreams" video is coo'. I still like the Eurythmics' video though.
Amazing how the music video industry has "matured" over the last 20+ years.
