I bet that is a violation of some eBay rule. You can't decide not to sell to someone based on religious belief. You can only base your decision on the feedback rating.

I would turn him in to eBay.

Besides I don't think the society would want him to sell literature on eBay. Heaven forbid someone else besides them make money.

This guy sells stuff on eBay.

Most of the items he sells can be obtained elsewhere (reexamine.org)

My suggestion would be to write him back a letter that said you had no intention of discussing religion with him and that if he discriminates against you because you are not a member of his religion you intend to contact ebay and complain about the discrimination. I think that would either make him continue doing business with you or he would have to stop selling on ebay. I don't think ebay would tolerate that sort of blatant discrimination.

    Bid on it.

    Win it.

Use Paypal and immediately send him his $.

If he backs out of the deal ebay will censor him.

    This is against Ebay policies:

    eBay’s policies are intended to:

    • Support government laws and regulations
    • Minimize risks to sellers
    • Provide equal opportunity to all sellers
    • Protect intellectual property rights
    • Provide an enjoyable buying experience
    • Support the values of the eBay Community

Violation of eBay policies can result in a range of actions, including:

    • Listing cancellation
    • Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings
    • Limits on account privileges
    • Loss of PowerSeller status
    • Account suspension

    Reporting violations of selling policies

eBay monitors listings, including reviewing reports of policy violations from its members. To report listing violations, locate the policy that is being violated, review it, and report the violation using the links provided on the appropriate policy page or click Help at the top of any eBay page and then click Contact Us on the left side of the page.

Your participation and vigilance as part of the eBay Community is invaluable in helping to help you to be a successful seller.

    HTH! This disgusts me.

Somehow I must have missed something. I don't see where this was an E-bay violation. Please see below:

""I wrote Steve Searle ([email protected]) who has literature for sale on E-Bay (Marley Cole’s books on CD) and on his website at http://www.geocities.com/searlsa123/WatchtowerAntiquarian ""

If you did this through E-mail and not through E-bay messages, then there is no violation of E-bay policies

This person also sells at eBay the items for sale on his website.....so buy from him on eBay. He then cannot arbitrarily decline to sell to people who win his auctions. --VM44
