I suppose if I were a truly independant thinker I would not be here reading and posting on this board.

If you mean by "GROUP" a few people who put their collective intelligence together to solve a problem that needs solving....That's a good thing.
On the other hand some people can and do solve the problem alone and without help. That is OK too.
