Latest Adventure At The Hall

Today, I made up my mind to be as big of an ass as possible at the meeting so they force me out rather than to whimper on my own and let the JW's say that "Maybe he wasn't right for it afterall".

So first thing I did was I loaded up on liquid courage. Second thing I did was wore my "Kiss My Ass" t-shirt. The t-shirt has the words "Kiss My" in Kiss Caligraphy and a donkey underneeth the caligraphy. third thing I did was bitch out at this dude who was beating his 2 year old kid. I swear to god, the guy was a fucking psycho. He stared down his kid like how I would stare down an opponent before I would fight him in TKD class. Problem was, I'm trained to use my body as a weapon. He was intimidating his kid with that same look. I told him off and he threatened to fight me. I immidiatley told him I am a trained martial artist and if he tried to fight me, I'd kill him. He then threatened to call the police for assault if I attacked him. Poor fool. If the police knew why I would have kicked his ass, he would have gone to jail. And I told an elder about the UN thing. He was really concenred. I also told him about that fucking bastard that tried to beat his kid up.

It's interesting that the elder got worried by the UN issue, he may start doubting about the WTS for whom the UN was such a vile beast but then decided to associate with it.

Funny how the one's who are quickest to use this threat are usually the ones most guilty.

I think you should have called the police and had the place raided.

Call his bluff and tell him the same - If you lay one hand on that kid, I'll have you arrested for assault and child abuse.

Just once, I wish someone would have done that. I'd do it now if I ever had the unhappy experience to be in Kingdom Hall again.

Was the JW beating on his kid? What's wrong with this picture?

As a JW you are taught to always be a GOOD EXAMPLE . Even when you try your very best it is still not "good" enough.

Sometimes you just have to get testy and just let go. Keep us up to date.

ColdRedRain, you did a lot of things today. All of the things you did take a lot of Bravado. Will you be going back to that Kingdom Hall? If someone in my congregation did all the things you did, they would be thrown out on their ear if they came back. How do you get away with it?

    CRR-

Hey! Great meeting, I'd count time for it. Only question - what are you doing for the next meeting, aside from point number one. As a practitioner of JKD and Escrima I think you're right - the man would have needed a funeral talk - "worst meeting of all." You'll be the only brother to be told, "please don't keep up your meeting attendance." Keep us filled in with the food from the spiritual table.

ColdRedRain, I understand the anger that led to your "adventure," but your antics seem somewhat juvenile to me. Bravado is not the same thing as courage. You're proving nothing to the cong except serving as an example of what they imagine dissolute "worldly" people to be. A reasoned disagreement, even if most don't listen, may attract someone to your way of thinking more than flamboyant protests will. End of lecture.

    Parakeet-

Your lecture reminded me of the Beasty Boys mothers. What do you do for fun?

Lawrence, yes, I can be a wet blanket (and I'm old enough to be the Beasty Boys' mom). And although I disapprove of CRR's methods of self-expression, I fully endorse his resistance to JW thought control. And I like that he stood up for that poor kid. Forgive me? :-)
