I have a question. Was this refurbishing of this building done before the sale or after. How much money is involved.
Why can't the IRS get after these people?

The WTS sold it to a developer for $200 million before all these changes were done. This is not an example of a Bethel room. The building was used for commercial purposes when the WTS owned it.
Now what the WTS does with the 4 tower building it plans with underground parking is up for grabs since they are downsizing and have moved all the printing to Wallkill and most of everything else to Patterson. It could be a means of maximizing their land in Brooklyn Heights.
The WTS has a lot of expensive property but the cash flow has slowed dramatically since 1990 when they had to stop asking for a fixed price for the publications from the rank and file and the public.
Disenchantment by the rank and file has made them vote with their pocketbook as well.
