Thanks to all those of you that offered their sympathy.

James Free you've hit the nail on the head !

Can I ask one thing of everybody here. That we do not defile this thread by answering or acknowledging the trolls and apologists that will turn up in this thread. I don't want it to turn into a battlefield. If you want a theocratic debate do it in your own thread, don't do over Tyler's grave.

Hey hon; I'm so sorry for your loss and I feel your pain. My baby brother died from a hole in his heart years ago. He never even came home from the hospital.

While I believe in God, I really do wonder where He is and why He allows suffering. Like was already mentioned here, I have yet to hear a reasonable explanation.

    ((((((Hugs))))),

(((((Dr Jekyll))))) Tyler was a beautiful little baby , look how happy you made him in his very short life . The picture of him is precious you see such joy in his eyes . That comes from him because he was surrounded by loving people like you , your mate , and his family. When you reflect back on this tragic time a least know you helped bring a bit of happiness to Tyler . Even though you only knew Tyler a short while you made a connection with him , and that is something you will carry inside of you forever. I am so sorry for your loss .

How horrible Dr. Jekyll, I'm so very sorry. I can completely understand the way you feel, going through something that devistating. What a beautiful little guy Tyler was and my sympathies are with everyone who has lost him. I can't imagine the emptiness you must be feeling.

Very moving Doc, thanks for writing it up.

As a part of their training for the priesthood, Catholics are taken to a hospital and shown the horror wards of deformed babies. Some have perfectly normal minds but bodies with appendages like withered turnips and other stomach wrenching indignities. This test sorts out the priests from the boys. After that it's a wonder any maintain a belief in a caring God.

You did a great job in the most stressful and trying of circumstances. I applaud you my friend.

Matt, I just can't know what to say. I have spent a lot of time on support forums for grieving families of little ones(long story there) and the stories never get any easier to hear. What happened never should have, on so many levels. Good for you for stopping them from doing what they were going to do.

His little face is burned into my heart now. I won't ever forget it. No baby is ever supposed to die.

These things are also the reason I stopped believing there could possibly be a higher power who gives a care about what goes on with us humans.

many hugs...wish there was more I could say or do. I'm just so sorry.

    essie
