It shouldn't be surprising that the WTS does incorporate demonic drawings in its publications since both Russell and Rutherford were courting with the occult and much of what they wrote was of demonic inspiration.

I'm sorry, but I've never bought into the whole "subliminal images" thing. Anyone can take illustrations from any book or magazine and find unusual patters.
This is a side effect of the way the human brain works... our brains are constantly looking for patterns and representations of things we can recognize. This is why people see faces in tree bark, toast, chips and water stains.

I felt the same way when I first found that site. Much of the WT art is scary even without subliminal messages. But there are so many hidden faces in the publications it seems more then just a coincident. I wonder if any ex-bethelites can give us more insights on the WT art department.

I'm of the opinion that there are possibly some instances where the artist hid something in a picture, more as a curiosity or a personal sign of their artistic flair, but I think the thing with mirrors is definately taking it too far, like Elsewhere said...

Some other drawings that are obvious (and without mirriors) with 'creepy things or occult things' are in the Revelation Book on page 159 in the hand of Jesus and Insight on the scriptures Vol 2 on the inside cover...in the pharisee's purple robe. Other websights have Watchtower articles with obvious occult signs.

I am not sure what to think about the WT art. I hope there will be more “revelations” about this in the future. It surly is interesting.
