From now on I'm calling this the "Rainy Season"

  For a 2nd year on a row, it's been raining most of April, May, and now June.

  I went for a ride on bike. I was 6 miles away and it was sunny. When I turned around to come back home, the sky was dark and I knew it was going to rain AGAIN. It didn't take 5 minutes for the rain to start and I had to come back home in the rain. I stopped under an overpass, for about 15 minutes, but the rain wouldn't stop, and I knew it would rain for hours, so I kept on riding in the rain all soken wet til I got home.

  What kind of weather did you have in the past for those months? - if you can remember.

  Every year is different. Some springs are nicer than others. But for the 2nd year in a row, it's all rain... day after day, week after week, and month after month. This rain doesn't guarantee nicer weather to come. It might rain again for another 3 months.....

  April showers brings May showers

  May showers brings June showers....

  I was staying in the Okanagan when, on a perfectly sunny day, a thunderstorm suddenly came in. Of course, I was on my bike, on the other side of town from where I was staying. It rained extremely hard for 20-30 min. and after 20 min. of riding in it, I decided to pull into a shopping mall and hide in the entrance. Of course, 10 min. later it stopped. By that time, I was so soaked you could see clear through my shirt and I could literally pour water out of my shoes.

  LOL! Sorry to laugh but I love the visual of thinking of you all slogging through the rain and puddles on your bikes!

  We've had a few very rainy summers and it is depressing. You wait sooooooo long for summer and then it rains all the time. It's hard to get the grass mowed because it's so wet.

  Ya, the weather's been crazy up here this year.....JH, where bouts are you? Out east?........it was warmer in April than what it is now.........I always thought that Canada and the States shoulda bin split vertically instead a horizontally.....that way, we at least would have an option to move somewhere where it's frigging WARM with palm trees and no rotten snow....Hmmm........maybe I'll shud send George Dubya a memo on this.
