Bush makes surprise trip to Iraq - will it do any good?

US President George W Bush has paid a surprise visit to the Iraqi capital - his first since November 2003.
Iraq's Prime Minister Nouri Maliki was only given a five-minute warning before meeting the guest for talks at the US embassy in the fortified Green Zone.
"Iraq's future is in your hands," Mr Bush told the Iraqi prime minister.

But ...... will it do any good?

You stole my comment there mkr32208 .... LMAO The Bush NWO aint working so good in Iraq . I'm still waiting for marshall law to be declared there , then they'd only prove they are no better than Sadaam anyway .

The insurgency lost their top leader and many of his lieutenants, the new Iraqi government became official and President Bush visited the new Iraqi Prime Minister in Baghdad.

This is more of a media / psychological victory against the insurgency than anything else. Al Qaeda uses the media as one of it's major tools to gathering support... Bush just did the same thing.

I really like Jon Stewart too....says it like it is. It would be interesting to know the age range of those who have been convenced to blow themselves up. They can't be too much over 24-25. When you reach that age and someone asks you to do something like that, your life experience kicks in and you think "WTF...... you wear the bomb jacket, i'll be the messenger and tell everyone what a success you were!"
