hi all, yes i did mean Hemel Hempstead in Herts (UK) you know in old england, sometimes known as blighty, land of hope and glory. my spelling seams to get worse as i get older.

Hi Smiffy.
This forum did apparently start off as a JW site but gradually the ex JW's took over as they obviously had more interesting things to say!
Seriously, you know that as a JW you are told in no uncertain terms that you should not look at anything to do with JW's on the internet except the official Watchtower site.
What are they scared of, that's what you have to ask yourself?
When I was a JW I found it very strange that we would like everyone to read the Watchtower and Awake maagazines but we would not accept anyone else's literature in return.
Anyway, welcome to this discussion board, I hope you stay and read things with an open mind and put your own views accross.
