It's just that, if there is a god that is so irresistable, so allknowing, so all powerful, so pervasive, there should be some direct evidence to show his existence, his actions at the present time, his thoughts, his will. As science learns more about the material world, attempting to use the it as proof just doesn't do it, anymore. Your allmighty has to come up w something new. For a god such as you espouse, it would seem to be a nothing, the simplest thing, wouldn't it?

Yes, I feel this myself when people give credence and glorification to the Bible god. How can they so blindly shrink and belittle the source of an infinite and wondrous universe to such a limited and vile little anthropomorphic deity? Have we no shame? It seems our foolishness and stupidity is also without end.

I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are,

but for years we've been telling God

to get out of our schools,

to get out of our government and

to get out of our lives
