Iron Maiden rumour

I wonder if anyone has heard of this, or whether it is completely made up... the story is that Iron Maiden (the rock band) took pictures from the Revelation book and put them on their album covers, and were therefore threatened by the WTS lawyer dept., demanding that they sent them the covers to be destroyed.

I don't know why IM would want to plagarize the smelly Revelation book anyway ;-)

A quick look on the AMG Music site showed me no Iron Maiden covers since 1988 that I recognized as familiar - Can anybody come up with one?

As far as I know, the WTS never put Eddie in any of their artwork.

One band guaranteed to scare any true-blue dubbie out of their wits - especially when they perform "666, The Number of the Beast"! Wasn't there some urban legend about all kinds of mayhem taking place while they recorded that song?
