Go on have a blast. The JW discussion forum is on the same web page (google among others) as the societies official site.

I once remember an elder telling me about some ex witness who wrote some bad stuff on the internet. That was about 4 years ago. I thought at the time , "why was he reading apostate stuff on the internet, when we were not supposed to read anything remotely apostate". mmmm

I reckon curiosity gets the better of at least 10 per cent.

Considering how many warnings the WTS is giving from the stage, I would say quite a few are looking at ex-JW websites.

Apparently, "a very small number" of Jehovah's people have murmured against the earthly part of his organization. (July 15 WT)

I would say this site and others like it were very successful if they get even 10% of the JW hits that nekkid pitcher sites get from them.

"Quit touching the Unclean Thing" (yeah, but I washed it!)

10% or greater. Something has impacted the enthusiasm of the average JW and it could very well be information on the Internet.

I wouldn't mind betting that at least 10% of active jws look at sites like this one. Although the wts constantly tells them not to look, curiosity gets the better of them.

10%.....that's 660,000 Witnesses who could be viewing sites like this, finding out what's really going on in the religion. That's quite a hefty number when you think about it. Plus add in all those who maybe haven't looked at these sites, but who are simply tired or discouraged with all their broken promises.........

Yep, by their fruits you will recognize them.

It certainly was curiosity that brough me here. I was impelled to prove to myself why I believed in the irrational. But as soon as I heard other like me with my same thoughts and feelings, it was all over.
I think incidents like mine are at least partially a result of the society saying over and over again, "don't go on the net and look up JW's." In hindsight, that is a really stupid thing to keep saying. If they knew a shred about human behaviour, they would know that if you tell a person to NOT do something without giving a rational and reasonable explanation, they will do it, if only out of curiosity. It's like telling a little child to NOT look in the closet, over and over again, and just saying "because something will get you."
