Steph,
We've had a great deal of difficulty already because of religios differences, but as everyone so far has expressed, mind control is a powerful thing. I care for this girl deeply and it hurts me to see her under this kind of control.
I wonder why anyone (whether in "the truth" or not) could possibly think this way (Nytelecom and I'm sure many, many other JW 's don't). Are they SOOO brainwashed that they feel nothing but depression and hate, which leads to them feel GOOD when something like this happens?
Is it sick to any of you that someone can derive a kind of joy from this when it serves their own interests? Do they feel good because it validates the crap they take from being JW's??
If they ARE happy because it serves their own interests, they are no better than the terrorists who committed this act.
