Do you think the JWs' sense of urgency could have anything to do with truthseeker's post (rumor?) that the gb will be making an important announcement this fall? If this uneasiness is becoming pervasive throughout the org, then maybe the gb feels pressured to do something to allay their fears.

Gosh, let's hope so! If their "important announcement" is as ill thought out as Br. Herd's revelations that all is not well in Dubdom, then things may well become extremely "interesting".

I'll pray for you to come to an even clearer light of the real Jesus. I've never been closer to God than I am now. JW's take Jesus off the Cross by trying to earn their salvation. I'm so glad to know now it's a free gift and the elders don't know everything. Jehovah's Witnesses ARE NOT CLOSER TO GOD THAN OTHERS! They're the most farthest away of anyone I know.

He meant no harm. He probably doesn't comprehend what you went through even after reading your post. I get the feeling Theocrat is highly entertained by how seriously we treat our experience with the cult that shredded (or at least impacted) our lives and/or families.

He doesn't seem to grasp that there are real people here who have experienced real damage from their exposure to the teachings of the Governing Body.

I am glad you haven't opted out of life. I haven't either.
