Ohhh my...many of you were very creative!
I would usually just write notes back and forth between friends that were sitting by me.....
Towards the end, I had back problems (no really I DID) and would get up and stand in the back of the hall to stretch & chat with other "sisters". It was an easy way to "people watch" too!
Or I'd pretend to be helping a mother with her child and go to the bathroom. We'd just talk the whole time or play with the baby.....
The best time was when I was breast feeding my daighter and they had this dark breast feeding room I could go into for virtually the whole meeting, my daughter could play on the floor I could take a short nap or catch up on my text messaging, no one else was breast feeding at the time so I would just chill for two hours. Plus I was DF'd so it stopped the constant staring in my direction.
My friends and I would look for the words ass, asses, breasts, semen, sex, harlot, etc in the bible and laugh ourselves silly. Or read Song of Solomon and do the same.
You could plan Mulan's Bullshit Bingo..........
Just take common JW terms and put them on a bingo card, when you get a row filled, yell out "bullshit bingo."
I used to play word games (anagrams) with words from the publication.
Draw pictures in the margins of my books (all my older books are a history of my progress in art)
Hated the public talk; constant talking by one person for 45 minutes; at least the WT was broken up into at least 3 people talking for each paragraph.
I know one sister who did her shorthand homework at the meeting. If your parents don't know shorthand, they have no idea what you are writing.
Older people can bring a non-JW book with a bible cover and read. I knew some that even read the Bible considering that the Bible wasn't being read at the meetings. Bring a different translation and irritate the elders/MS/attendants.

Write lists. Lists of things I need to do, lists of things I need to buy, grocery lists, lists of things I'd rather be doing. It looks like you are taking notes, but really you are writing lists.
That was me! Toward the end, when we were fading, I would write in a journal about my feelings about things, and what I had been doing. Saved my sanity.
Sometimes when I was young, I would enhance the illustrations in the magazines, modifying their features or changing their expressions, or drawing in a word ballon like a comic book. I also would experiment with OOBE, and sometimes went to some really neat places. At other times, kegel excercises provided a very pleasant experience.
