Do any religions other than JW's reject transfusions?

I'm sure this has been covered millions of times, but could someone give me a link? I've heard some Orthodox Jews reject transfusions as well.

    Thanks,

I don't think any Jews reject blood transfusions because their guiding principle is that the law can be suspended if a life can be saved that way. They have the common sense that the dubs lack.

There is another group that rejects blood transfusions, right now the name escapes me. They even have a blood card similiar to the JW's. I have it in my files somewhere!

No better reasoning is there than the one I learned in COC about how Jesus plucked grain on the sabbath with his diciples and used David and the showbread as an example of the scripture..." I want mercy, not sacrifice" to answer his questioners.

Pete...I was on a roll dammit and you had to go and ruin it.

Seriously, regardless of what Jesus said...he ate when he was hungry rather than obey a law he chose to break. Plucking grain on the sabbath was punishable by death....yet Jesus put physical welfare in place of a law. ......................k.....let me have it again with both barrells dammit.
