    Traditionally, the WTS makes a big push to get publishers out (and auxiliary pioneering) during the months of March, April, and May; especially during the month the memorial falls in or the one that has 5 weekends.

    They have been doing this for 40 years or more. Just as they come out of the winter slump.

    Leolaia's comment on looking at the overall numbers is more realistic, seeing that in reality, the numbers have dropped.

    Anyway, the WTS is not concerned about more people but are these people donating more money, or any money at all.

    Truly we can appreciate how close we are to the end of the wicked System of Things when the fear inspiring day of Jehovah will bring a close to all wickedness and Jehovah's people can somehow magically live happily ever after without doing any work whatsoever to improve themselves.

    It brings to mind those dark days of 1914, when Satan declared war on heaven and the angels. We can see how the world has deteriorated since those times. How thankful we can be that the spirit directed organization has shown us the way, through ever changing and mystifying ways, that Jehovah's day will come. Just ignore that they've got it wrong for nearly 100 years, lied, cheated, allowed monstrous evil access to the most innocent of children and raped the souls of millions of people, you should be fearful of the awesome day of Jehovah! Now go advertise advertise advertise (read: sell sell sell)

    Perhaps the 15,000+ publishers they lost the year before have suddenly reactivated now that they can count only 15 minutes of time? That could certainly explain it.

    The problem with stats is that they can be made to say anything. It's only by comparison that they mean anything. The WT used to say thet 6 million members was greater than some countries! WOW

    3.7 million in the USA alone voted every week for "So you think you can dance" to keep their favorite dancer. Woohoo

    48 million people around the earth are blind.

    First of all god is speeding things up....then hes slowing things down and now hes speeding things up again... Then theres the new light, old light newer light and theocratic warfare to consider jeez I dont know whether we are coming or going!

    My response to these statistics is....what do you expect from a multi million dollar sales force?
