Does this not pop up each summer when there is a lack of real news? I guess Nessie is next.

A great link, New Worldly Translation! Unfortunately for Cornuke and company, I've seen rocks exactly like those in Oregon and Washington.

When reading the article by Brannon Howse, I noted something odd about his story of Bob Cornuke and Ed Davis. Assuming Howse's description of Cornuke's claims about Davis is correct, Cornuke is lying about Davis or Davis lied to him.

While disengaging from the JWs, I did a lot of research into Noah's Flood topics, including searches for Noah's Ark. I remember Ed Davis well, as someone always quoted by Ark hunters trying to prove their case. Davis claimed that he saw something on Mount Ararat, which is certainly not in Iran but in Turkey, near its borders with Armenia and Iran. Davis' connection with Iran was that the military base he worked on was in Hamadan, Iran, and it was from there that he claimed he set out to find Noah's Ark on Mount Ararat in Turkey, which is more than 500 miles away from his base by road.

Here a statement supposedly from Davis: http://www.noahsarksearch.com/ed-davis.htm . His story changed over the years, and has always contained many inconsistencies. There's tons of information available about Davis on the Net.

    Here's another interesting link: http://www.noahsarksearch.com/iran.htm

The above links are part of this website, http://www.noahsarksearch.com/index.htm , which contains a great deal of information about Noah's Ark searches. Let the buyer beware.

first of all, it is very hard to see from the pictures if it is wood or stone.

looking at the first picture it looks more like wood, but then the surrounding on the second, is more like the same stones.

anyway, I do not understand that they did not take a litle peace and have it analysed, that would be quite easy....

and if it is wood, it could also be just parts of houses etc.

the way the bring the conclusions are more based on wishes then science, IMHO
