There are some books I will definitely keep because I do use them when referencing various things. Many can be gotten from the library if I really need it. I might donate some to women's shelters or the Sexual Assault Centre.

There are some books I have collected that I would never read again and wouldn't reference from. Many are books that only researchers or counsellors would use.

There are a lot of self-help books that my clients used to use.

I have 6 book shelves and 4 very large boxes of books. When I lived in a house I always had a room just for the books. (I used to have close to 1400) I got rid of half of those before I moved to Winnipeg and if I can get rid of at least half of these I might have room for a sofa in the living room.

I don't think I will be working again so there is no point in keeping so many.

I'll check out both e-bay and amazon and see which is best for me.

BTW I have generated the list of books and it comes to 7 pages in a size 10 font. This is going to be a huge undertaking.

I have bought and sold on both Ebay and on Amazon and find that book sales are more profitable at Amazon.

Please tell us your "name' on both so that we can watch what you have for sale. Personally, I am a bookaholic. One of my weaknesses.

How about opening a domestic violence couseling office if you have the background in social services and counseling. You could rent the books for a little and serve your purpose. I realize that I know not a thing about you so I guess I should just sing, Sonnng , song of the South, Sweet potato pie, shut my mouth.

If I was well enough I would get back to work in a heartbeat. But I am at the point where I can't see that happening.

I'm sorry for your health problems;therefore,as it is said,"Only a fool speaks about something when he knows nothing about what he speaks of." "Fools rush in where angles fear to tread." So with that said, sell dem books, be rid of the wisdom, release that thare knowledge. I do hope your situation improves, even though I do know you are in a wheel chair. I don't know your age but, I do know that the socalled "golden age" should be referred to as the garbage days. I guess that is why at the end of our times we are begging for someone to come in and knock us in the head just to gret it over with. I hope I have not depressed you. My humor is dry very dry like Port wine.

My age? It's right there under my name.

I know my life isn't over and if the women in my family are any indication I'll be around at least for another 40 years.

So I'm planning to be comfortable as I live those 40 years.

You're not selling your cult-related books?

Does that mean you're keeping all your watchtower material?

You could donate them to a library or a women's shelter. I don't know anything about the tax laws in Canada, but it could be a write off for you as well.

If you do the Amazon thing let us know, I wouldn't mind taking a peek at what you have.

That is something I am considering as well
