God gave us everything...except the ONE and ONLY thing He wants for Himself that He can't give Himself. This thing is something that WE CHOOSE whether or not to give Him. He doesn't make us. All He does is want and hope that we give it. What is it?

Our Worship. That's all he wants. What is worship? Simply...Anything that pleases God. Worship is prayer, song, church fellowship, partaking of communion, trusting God with our money when we tithe, Bible reading, but it's also this...

How we drive, how we answer the phone, how we talk to our neighbors, co-workers, how we greet the waitress, the teller, the cashier. It's how we take care of our animals, how we treat our yard, how we care for our home, even the look on our face. Did you think that when you pet your dog you're worshiping God or when you serve your spouse a cup of tea you're worshiping God or when you answer your phone with a smile you're worshiping God? Thinking about this will add a new demention to everything you do all day long. See how much better your days get when you think of how everything you do can be a part of your worship that God so wants. Your smiles will get bigger, your chores will go faster, your home will stay cleaner, your heart will be happier. Because you're no longer thinking about how things make you feel, your making things part of your worship...the one thing YOU can choose to give God or not.

Blessings to you. Love to you all.

    "God gave us everything"......

Well, my observations of life tells me this is not so. Life in general is made up of "chance and circumstance" along with the choices one makes of those chances and circumstances.

What happens if we don't worship God the way he wants us to?

Is that truly a choice or a demand?

My post was to those who have my outlook and those who don't. I love all people if you agree with me or not. I can't prove to anyone else that God exists, He only let's Himself be found by those who search. I can however, tell you why I believe in Him. I have had miracles in my life and I have my prayers answered...each and every one. He says, "yes", "no", or "later". My life has certainly been different since I've started worshiping Him.

To answer the question, "What happens if we don't worship Him correctly?" There's not a right or wrong way to worship God. As my post was meant to portray. WHATEVER you do that pleases him is worship. Helping a friend move is worship, feeding a stray cat is worship, rocking your baby is worship. It doesn't matter the church you go to or how much you give or what you wear or if you believe everything a certain way. Nothing BAD is going to happen to you if you worship differently, the point is just to love him, the worship comes naturally.

I want each of you to have a wonderful day and give yourself a BIG hug and kiss from me!

Synergy, that was really sweet. Thank you!

It's going to be a lot harder for me to be my usual grouchy self today.

"Our Worship. That's all he wants."

Another thought to start the day with:

Any creature that "requires" my "worship" is unworthy of it.

Is your god really this tiny? A sad little puppy running around needing affirmation and unending attention from us? Think logically about the implications of your post. What does this say about a hypothetical "supreme being and intelligence" in the universe whom you claim to have created the universe and everything within it, as somehow requiring the "worship" of mortal, human beings? What astounding insecurity and a fragile ego this "god" creature must have! How sad indeed.

I THINK YOU WILL GET LOT OF POSTS FROM PEOPLE THAT DON'T LIKE GOD ANYMORE NOW THAT THEY ARE NO LONGER JEW'S BUT SOME WILL STILL LIKE IT THOUGH LIKE ME BECUASE I LIKE GOD TOO.

Synergy can I adopt you as a sister?? I agree. I just wasn't sure exactly what angle you were coming from. I see the Divine as being well, much different but think you have hit the nail on the head. And I wish more people would see that. When I would go to the KH my husband would jog through the park and pray. He felt most close to God then. I believed he had to go to the KH to worship. I was wrong. He was right. A beautiful post and I hope you have a beautiful day as well and will carry your thought with me today. BSoM

    Black Swan,

I would be honored to be your adopted sister! Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed my thought and I'm glad you realize now all the ways you can be close to God.
