What burns my circuits is the statement that "Apostates" are "seeking out positions of prominence" in God's organization.

I don't want any "position", I just want candor and truthfulness from "those taking the lead", and more mercy shown to the sheep. I have no desire to start my own following at all. I just want my family members that still believe so blindly to not be taken advantage of anymore.

That’s a good question! The internet is a great tool to use for exposing the wts. The problem is when jws surf these sites and leave a comment or “witness” they are often insulted and ridiculed by ex-jws. Some ex-jws even threat with killing all jws. To me they are helping the wts in portraying apostates as evil and debased. Off course the disrespect often goes both ways. But attacking jws like this will push them and the ones they speak to right back deep into the wt manipulation. Calling them “morons, stupid or brainwashed etc” is not right, because we were once just the same as them. We went from doortodoor, we called down evil on apostates and other religions, we followed the GB’s imaginary FDS and we defended the JW cult the best we could in our active years. We should not forget that.

I see this as a big problem. I understand the hurt and frustration caused by the wts, but taking it out on the deceived jws searching the net is only going to support the interests of the wt.

your neighbours is not just the family living next door, across the street, in the same block but practically everyone on the entire inhabited earth, i suggest we let no bad feelings overcome us, now against ouer family, friends but also the Brooklyn people and forbid, even the criminals. If you cant abide by mark 12:28-31 i dont think you will have a lot succes doing anything, wether it is going door to door or saving people from the WTS if one does not follow these 2 laws..

"Apostates do not leave because it is not true, they leave because they have immoral motives." I can't tell you the number of people that said to me the only reason i was having doubts was because I want to lead an immoral life.
