Mind control, evil and projection - the Law of Attraction

Hey everybody, I just signed up. I'm DjSadhu, ex-JG, raised JG, quit/kicked at age 16, now 30. I have some food for thoughts that you may find interesting, I hope you will find this a refreshing point-of-view. Some of you may know by now that what you think and feel, you attract to yourself: The Law of Attraction. That's why people who are afraid of dogs, are always the ones beeing chased by dogs, and people who consider themselves victims, will always be victimized in any way. People who speak most of illness have it. (If you have the time, please go see "The Secret" a nice positive documentary that shows in a basic way how this works.) It is no coincidence that this system of attraction is never spoken about in the JG org. The power of Mind or anything related is taboo, isn't it? Knowing this, take another look at the Watchtower and Awake, and notice how throughout the years all JG's have litteraly been pounded with "how evil the world is". Even the covers show destruction, chaos, evildoing, mahem, people in fear and what have you. The message is supposedly "this is for them, and paradise is for those who do what G-d asks". Might be. But WHY should we day after day, week after week flush people with all the evil in this world? Why the constant focus on bad things and chaos? DO THEY NOT KNOW THAT WHAT YOU FOCUS, ON YOU WILL ATTRACT? Or do they ignore this principle? Even worse: do they not know that what you focus on, you will eventually CREATE? This is NOT some vague theory, it has been known for thousands of years, and it has been proven again and again. Studies and experiments have been done that show the effect of "projection". In one of America's most criminal cities, I believe it was LA, a large group of people got together and focused on "peace" for a week. The police stated that during that week there was 25% LESS crime in that city, something that had never happened before or since! Even in the Middle East they had such experiments, with similar results. It does not take a lot of focused people to see some results. Positive or negative! One of the reasons why this world is such a mess, is the fact that most people are not aware of this principle. Mankind "thinks" that it can "think" without consequences, but reality shows otherwise. Now consider this: -We have a world-wide group of millions of people willing to believe what's in the WT and AW pronto. -We have a weekly dose of "the world is filled with chaos" and FEAR spread through these magazines, regardless of the hopefull message spread after the fear. -We have the Law of Attraction, plus the fact that to a certain extend we create our own reality. Now HOW DOES THIS HELP this world?? Millions of people focussing on the dark side of this world, projecting "this world is evil" and THUS assisting unwillingly in it's downfall? If you ask me, the JG organisation acts like a huge antenna-array, unwillingly projecting fear, evil and chaos into this world, simply because they are thought that this world is evil. It partly is, but that is NOT the part we want to put our focus on! Most people are unaware of this phenomenon, but it is important to realize to focus on the GOOD in this world, because that is the only way to help. Demonizing this world over and over to keep people inside the org, is NOT helping the rest of this world. Be only Good, and see only Good! I hope this is of some use for some of us ;-) Best wishes to all of you, DjSadhu

Thanks for the great info on "The secret". It's really upliftng and positive. And lot of the meetings of Jdubs are all about bad things. We don't kill (attention is drawn to killing) we don't watch porn (attention is drawn to porn) we don't this, we don't that... as the documentary says: what you resist, persists. And: when you push again the unwanted, you empower it, too.
