I have not been posting here for long and I am trying to get a "feel" for the makup of the group. I thought about telling my story in the personal experiances area but chickened out. I have noticed that the majority of the posters here are XJW's but there seem to be a few active JW's. 2 questions. Who is Whom? and .... (with all due respect) If you are an active JW, what does it say about your "spirituality" or your willingness to adhere to the organizations "principles", that you post here?

    Hi BG,

Good question, and one that you'll find handy for taunting the dubs when they go on a theocratic fit with you.

I was raised a Dub and was in thru mid 20's. I left about a quarter of a century ago. I'm an old, angry, insane apostate atheist and proud of it. Except for the "old" part, that is. Old sucks.

Stick around! Post messages! Tell fred Hall his litter box is so full of it. There's a lot of nice people here with a variety of views. Even Fred Hall can be amusing (if you drop a bunch of XTC first).

here, kitty, kitty... (Fred's a cat)

HI Bobsgirl. I like you am surprised at some of the arrogance from some JW's that post here, and wonder ummm why are they here.

We'd love to hear your story either here on on the stories page. But if you want some responses you might want to wait for the Terrorist theme to calm down a bit. I'm an Ex and have my stroy on my websight. Most you can tell after a few posts where they stand.

    Hi there...

I was born into a JW family, baptized at 12, became 'inactive' at 25 and was disfellowshipped at 26. My daughter is still being taken to meetings by my ex husband and my family is still in. My daughter would be the fifth generation of my family 'in' if they succeed in indoctrinating her.

Needless to say, my (second) husband and I are doing all we can to keep that from happening.

I'm inactive for 8 years and I worship the Virgin Venice now.

Hi Slipnslide: I love your comment! I have been inavtive for 9 years, and I believe I am DA'd for 6 years ... but I have yet to worship venice. But, I still have that green apostate foam oozing out of my nostriles as I gnash my teeth in anguish over the Watch Tower Society. - Amazing
