"gaining more than you'll ever lose"- like he just forsook his whole family and social system to be a dub? -Yeah, I just loooove all my conditional ex-friends....

In fact you'll see that 90 percent of people start questioning when they have a problem with the group.
"Elder so and so did this and that" They have a problem with the group, they're not accepted as they would like to be.....or they realize the group is corrupt and that's when they start to question by extrapolation whether the entire org is in good faith
The ostentation of love is due to a gun pointed to their heads.
"pretend to love or you'll die a horrible death, and nasty birds will eat your eye balls"
With that level of fear people would pretend anything....
A bad group cannot keep the aura of "good faith" in what it does ....
