I meant Joan herself. At 19 she was convicted by the English for heresy and burned at the stake at Rouen, France. Over 20 years later her Mum managed to get her daughters conviction an appeal which successfully overturned the conviction. Centuries later Joan was canonized by the Catholic Church.
