Welcome, livingalie. Actually by recognizing that the lie was the WTS, is a step in the right direction. After my close association with many Bethelites at Wallkill, it killed my illusions that there was more holy spirit at Bethel. What a disillusionment.
I'm sure you will find many with similar experiences here and some tips as how to move on emotionally and spiritually.
