    Man thats a wild list.

Where do you live? Don't they have a Supermarket there?? My friend once ordered snails in France, they brought them out on a big plate. He got ready to start eating them when he realized that all the little shells were moving to the edge of the plate, trying to escape! They were all still alive!!!!! ARGGHH!!!

Nothing all that exotic. Grew up eating squirrel, venison and partridge. Have eaten squid, squab (young pigeon), goat, octopus, elk, buffalo and alligator as an adult.

I grew up eating rabbit and squirrel (yeah, hick town)...but the worse part that I remember was holding the cooked squirrel head in my hand and being shown how to crack the skull with the back of a spoon... So I could dip out the cooked brain. Couldn't do that now if I had to. By the way, had the consistency of mashed potatoes and tasted rather bland.

Hm, this is quite the interesting thread to read while eating take out chinese :q.

The oddest thing I've ever eaten has to be caviar. Yuck. It was quite nasty and I am still boggled by the thought of people paying possibly hundreds or thousands of dollars for it. Blah.
Other then that, there are various fruits that are flown in and sold at the market that are quite interesting that I've tried. Not memorable though, guess that says enough.
