Yes, one year ago today I joined JWD!

My non JW husband actually found this site for me out of concern for me because I was floundering emotionally and unable to grasp and comprehend and get over what had happened to me in the JWs.

Instantly I was attracted to the likes of Blondie, JH, Almost Atheist, Leolaia, Seattle Nice Guy,
Minimus, Ballistic, Check Your Premises, Gjnat, Mouthy, Juni, Sunnygal, Cellist, Frannie, Greendawn,
Little Toe, Uncle Bruce, Farkel, Gumby, and a hundred others!!!!!!!

I grew so much in that one year time. I travelled so far spiritually. Through this association my closed mind held so long in a prison of propaganda blossomed like a rose. The rose is a beautiful symbol of awakening and maturing. It just gets more lovely with age and opening.

Thankyou all so much for all your patience with me and kindness. Everyone has been so wonderful to me.
You dont know how much it means! I have my life back. I have my sanity back. I have my love for life back.
This website is a Godsend if there ever was one for ex JWs!

Anewme I've watched you go through an almight struggle on this board as you've battled through those barriers you had. And you've come out shining and glorious!

How is hubby finding things now? Is he happy that you have come through this ordeal as well as you have?
